However, beneath the surface, there may be a hidden ambition, decisiveness, and adventurous spirit of the Warlord. The key to success lies in whether one can utilize this latent mettle and, at critical moments, break through the constraints of convention to achieve extraordinary accomplishments.

  1. Strong Day Master: This is the foremost requirement. The Day Master must have strong roots to withstand the pressure of these influences, whether revealed or concealed. Only with a robust self can one harness and utilize the Executive and Warlord energies.

如甲生巳酉丑月，天干透庚，生申月，岁时辛金坐实多透，二者不拘藏见，但无气的便不用。如用官不宜行杀运，用杀不宜行官乡，要身旺。《喜忌篇》云：“杀藏官显身弱，岂得成名？杀显官藏有制，自能显达。”灾福与官杀格同。 古歌曰：“露杀藏官只论杀，露官藏杀只论官。身强遇此多为贵，身弱逢之祸百端。”

The key is that the Day Master must be strong. As stated: "When the Warlord is hidden and the Executive is revealed but the self is weak, how can one attain fame? When the Warlord is revealed and the Executive is hidden, if the Warlord is controlled, one will naturally achieve prominence."
